of water and environmental engineering, offers consultancy
services and provides support services. These support services
include erection and commissioning services, on site heavy
steel fabrication and structural jobs, operation and maintenance
of plants supplied by Akar for some length of time or for
a longer period, as desired by client. Akar even offers operation
and maintenance services for those plants not supplied by
Akar. Akar has its own designing, manufacturing and assembling
facility at Noida near New Delhi in India apart from two additional
associate production and fabrication shops.

of personnel experienced and competent in all areas viz. design,
engineering, surveying, equipment manufacturing, testing,

CONSULTANCY

major activities are undertaken by Akar.
- Sampling
and waste water sample analysis.
- Topographical
survey of client's site, if required.
- Evaluation
of various options of treatment processes.
- Design
of suitable treatment process/systems.
- Providing
budgetary cost estimates to clients.
- Providing
detailed engineering design and drawings, if required.
- Providing
schematics civil engg.drawings for intended bidders.

electrical drawings, specifications, budgetary estimates.

technical equipment specifications for interested bidders.
PRODUCTION
AND SUPPLY OF MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENTS.
Most of mechanical equipment being used in
the area of akar's sphere of activity mentioned above are
manufactured by Akar in their own manufacturing shops located
at Noida. The bought outs are pumps, motors, reduction gear
boxes and some other mechanical and electrical items.

CONSTRUCTION WORK FOR TREATMENT PLANTS(if required by clients).
If desired by client,
Akar undertakes construction of civil structures in the sectors
of Water Treatment plants, Waste Water Treatment plants and
Municipal Solid Waste Treatment plants executed by Akar. Akar
has some of the equipments and testing devices necessary for
such work.
ERECTION
(INSTALLATION) OF PLANTS AND MACHINERY.
Akar erects and
commissions the projects executed by it in the field of Water
Treatment plants, Waste Water Treatment plants and Municipal
Solid Waste Treatment plants. The company also undertakes
erection and commissioning of Water Treatment plants, Waste
Water Treatment plants and Municipal Solid Waste Treatment
plants supplied by some other companies if a client desires
as such. Akar has erected several plants in this manner. Akar
has a team of heavy jobber who are specialists in installation
of heavy equipment. Akar has manpower and infrastructure of
equipment required for such jobs.

piping works for large projects related to Water Treatment
